John “Jack” Slater is a Paralegal at Musolino & Dessel PLLC. He is from the Chicago area and moved to Washington, D.C. to study at Georgetown University. Jack was also active in civic life, serving as Deputy Director of Outreach for the Georgetown ACLU and supporting GU Votes, a nonpartisan voter registration initiative. He was a faculty-selected delegate to the Student Conference on U.S. Affairs at West Point, where he helped produce and present a policy memo. Jack graduated from Georgetown with a Bachelor of Arts in Government in May 2026 as a member of Pi Sigma Alpha and Phi Alpha Theta, the national political and history honor societies.

Jack has also worked in a range of government and campaign environments. He served as the Deputy Director of Media Logistics for the Obama Presidential Center Grand Opening, worked as an Advance Associate for a Presidential campaign, and interned for the Democratic National Convention Committee in Chicago. While looking ahead to law school, Jack is eager to bring his background and drive to the practice at Musolino and Dessel.
