EXPERIENCE
Ara Asgarian is the litigation paralegal for Musolino and Dessel PLLC. She is a recent graduate of the Johns Hopkins University School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS), where she earned her MA in International Relations. During her time at SAIS, she focused on security issues in the Middle East and Latin America. She previously completed a bachelor’s degree in Law, Economics, and Management at Université Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne in Paris and spent a year studying at Hitotsubashi University in Tokyo, Japan.

Ara has interned with the American Bar Association’s Rule of Law Initiative, supporting programs focused on judicial independence and democratic governance across Latin America and the Caribbean. She also worked with Counterpart International’s Women’s Empowerment team, contributing to initiatives advancing women’s rights and gender equality globally. Ara speaks Spanish, French, Italian, Portuguese and Farsi, and was recently a U.S. Department of State Critical Language Scholar in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.
